In this latest version of the Golf 4MOTION, Volkswagen is using a four-wheel drive system with an enhanced, fifth-generation Haldex coupling. The Haldex Performance Part will greatly improve the performance and handling of your 2008.5-up VW Passat 4-Motion, CC and Tiguan 4-Motion. The kit consists of a new electronically controlled valve body, gasket, necessary hardware and installation instructions. The Haldex coupling works as part of the 4Motion system to variably distribute propulsive power between the front and rear wheels, working with the electronic stability control system to improve safety. By sensing and adjusting to factors such as slippage, handling and torque, it helps to keep your vehicle steady in slippery conditions.
